Weekly Meditation, Wednesdays 4:00-4:45 pm & Saturdays, 8:00-8:45 am, Old Town Yoga ($5 suggested donation)
Receive guidance if new to meditation or support in your practice. Each session begins with simple instruction for beginners, followed by selected readings on meditation from the Yogic and Buddhist perspective. We continue with 20 minutes of practice, with time for questions after. All levels and backgrounds welcome....
Satsang, Last Friday of Every Month, 6:30-7:45 pm, Treetop Studio
Satsang is the simple but powerful practice of spending time with others on the spiritual path. In this monthly gathering, we’ll share a bit about our spiritual work in a specific area, learning from each other’s experiences and receiving and giving support. Each meeting will focus on a particular aspect of the spiritual life -- study, meditation, prayer, service, diet, etc. -- followed by a brief meditation and a chance to socialize. All interests and backgrounds welcome. This is an opportunity to meet and support others from all traditions who are working toward living a more spiritual life.
